How did Vinci succeed in promoting inclusion and diversity within its global teams through an engaging and educational OuiLive Challenge?
Vinci is a global dealership and construction company committed to promoting inclusion and diversity. To celebrate Inclusion & Diversity DAYS 2024, Vinci organized an interactive challenge in partnership with OuiLive. This challenge aimed to make employees aware of the issues of inclusion and diversity through four main themes: feminism/sexism/masculinism, ageism/youth, validity/disability, and wokism/anti-woke.The objective of the challenge was to equip participants so that they could advise within their entity and inform the resolution of business situations from diverse opinions. The points earned during the challenge were converted into donations to support various diversity and inclusion initiatives in society. Activities included quizzes, polls, photo/video challenges, as well as panel discussions and interactive stands to deepen the understanding of the topics covered.

The implementation of the challenge was carefully orchestrated with the support of OuiLive Challenge Managers. The challenge started with an online teasing phase, followed by several thematic days aligned with the four main axes of the program. Communication kits, including wordings, videos and visuals, were provided to promote the challenge and ensure optimal engagement of participants. The activities were spread over several days, with stands and round tables led by experts in each field. The discussions were moderated and interpreted in several languages to cover the different time zones of Vinci employees, thus ensuring global and inclusive participation.
The close collaboration with the OuiLive teams made it possible to overcome technical and logistical challenges, and to adjust the program according to Vinci's specific needs.
With over 300 active participants and a broad coverage of diversity and inclusion topics, the challenge was a success. Vinci noted strong participation and a high level of engagement, with positive feedback from users. The quizzes and interactive activities helped participants to better understand diversity issues and to apply this knowledge in their work environment. The success of this challenge prompted Vinci to plan other similar challenges in the future, in particular for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (JOP). The feedback highlighted the importance of continuous communication and the integration of relevant educational content to maintain the interest and engagement of participants.
