How did Monnoyeur's project teams manage to unite their employees from all over the world around an event that was both physical and virtual, by engaging them in joint support for their skipper involved in the Transat Jacques Vabre, all while promoting exchanges and breaking down cultural and geographical barriers?
Monnoyeur, an international company present in 19 countries and with employees speaking 12 languages, decided to launch a connected challenge to promote commitment and cohesion for its employees around the world. Using the OuiLive application, Monnoyeur organized a challenge entitled “Monnoyeur - Duo for a Transat”, inspired by the transatlantic race of the Transat Jacques Vabre, where participants compete as a duo through various game modules (photo challenges, video challenges, video challenges, quizzes, video challenges, quizzes, surveys, step challenges) .The objective was to create an engaging and stimulating event, while strengthening ties between employees, regardless their location all the while supporting their skier Benjamin Ferré, a true standard bearer of the Monnoyeur brand image in the world of sport.

The challenge took place from September 13 to 24, 2023 and brought together 602 participants. The concept consisted of forming duos, selected randomly during registration, who had to travel daily distances and complete various challenges (as set out above). This duo format encouraged collaboration and camaraderie between colleagues, allowing Monnoyeur employees from around the world to have an enriching experience, full of joy and discovery about the Monnoyeur sporting event.
The OuiLive teams showed great flexibility by adapting the application to include 12 languages, including 4 that were not initially available, in record time. This ability to adapt allowed all participants to feel included and to participate fully, regardless of their native language. And of course to reassure Monnoyeur's project teams.
In terms of logistics, the challenge had a common objective: to collectively cover 6710 km, the distance between Le Havre and Fort-de-France, in support of Benjamin Ferré, a Monnoyeur skipper involved in the Transat Jacques Vabre. This collective objective added an additional dimension of motivation for the participants, uniting them around a common goal that went beyond simple individual competition. This is the great satisfaction of the Monnoyeur teams, who for the first time were able to bring together their global employees so much at a double event (digital and sports) to promote the company's image.
The challenge was a great success, not only in terms of acquisition but especially in terms of the satisfaction of the participants and the Monnoyeur project teams. The 602 participants took a total of 33,000,000 steps, which represents more than 27,000 km. This massive commitment showed that Monnoyeur employees were ready to take on challenges while having a lot of fun.
The qualitative feedback has been extremely positive. The participants appreciated the diversity and originality of the challenges proposed, and especially the opportunity to connect with colleagues from the different countries where the company is present. The first six duos were lucky enough to win a stay in Le Havre to attend the start of the race, a very motivating reward that allowed all employees to be involved in a flagship Monnoyeur event. A real success for the OuiLive and Monnoyeur teams.
