Behind the SQVCT, what are the real expectations of employees?
La SQVCT was created for Raise awareness among businesses and employees about the importance of QWL. It takes place every year in June and offers various events and initiatives to promote the quality of life at work. This year's theme is “Transitions and work, are we talking about it?“. This theme invites companies to study the impact of transitions — mainly digital and ecological — on the world of work and the Quality of Life of employees.
And for good reason, French employees have increasingly high expectations in terms of QWL! According to a study by Malakoff Médéric Humanis, 84% of employees consider that QWL is important for their well-being at work and 78% think it has an impact on their performance. Employees expect their company to recognize their work, a balance between work and personal life, positive relationships with colleagues and managers, a healthy work environment, and opportunities for professional development.
The Week of Joy to meet the needs of employees and businesses
It is in this context that OuiLive and Café Joyeux decided to launch the QVT Challenge 2023 - Week of Joy.
For participating businesses, the Week of Joy is:
- 12 days of inter-company challenges for a concrete impact in favor of QWL.
- Conferences led by inspiring personalities : immerse your teams in the Café Joyeux universe, promote positive and inclusive values (Yann Bucaille - Founder of Café Joyeux, Nicolas d'Estais - Skipper offshore racing... ),
- A concrete impact : €200 donated to La Cagnotte Joyeuse as soon as you register + up to €7000 in donations made by OuiLive on behalf of your company according to your ranking. The fund will be used to train new Joyeux team members and to finance the opening of new Café Joyeux locations. Together, we will support the employment of people with cognitive and mental disabilities through this fundraiser,
- Lots of other gifts : A joy prize (photo challenge), 10 boxes of Café Joyeux coffee to be distributed to the most involved employees, participation in the gala evening and awards ceremony in an exceptional location, a face-to-face conference led by the Café Joyeux teams for the 2 winning companies (one per podium).
As you can see, the challenges are fun and active. Whether they take the form of photo challenges, videos, surveys and quizzes, with each challenge taken on, employees score points for their company. The goal: to participate in a collective experience and earn points all together to make your company rise (each company represents a team) in the rankings.
But the Week of Joy Challenge is not limited to challenges. It is also the story of an encounter between two structures with common values.
Café Joyeux, a social enterprise created in 2017, offers café-restaurants with happy team members with mental and cognitive disabilities. By joining the QVT 2023 Challenge - Week of Joy, the company is accomplishing its mission: to make the inclusion of people with mental and cognitive disabilities visible and active in society. Indeed, Café Joyeux offers training and job opportunities for people who are too often marginalized. By working in inclusive environments, happy team members develop self-confidence, autonomy, professional skills, and ability to interact with customers and colleagues.
Café Joyeux fits perfectly into the SQVT 2023 theme “Transitions and work, are we talking about it?”. This theme invites us to reflect on the evolutions and transitions in the world of work, as well as the conditions in which they are experienced by workers. By focusing on the inclusion of people with disabilities, Café Joyeux demonstrates how work can be a vector of positive transition. Indeed, employment is a key factor for the inclusion of people with disabilities, and makes it possible to break the prejudices and stereotypes that may be associated with this population.
Engaging all together for a concrete and joyful impact!
And that's not all! Companies that participate in the QVT 2023 Challenge - Semaine de la Joie also have the opportunity to contribute to a noble cause. Indeed, for each participating company, OuiLive will release a donation paid to the Emeraude Solidaire endowment fund. This endowment fund, the sole shareholder of Café Joyeux, supports the training of happy team members through the Happy Apprentice Training Center (CFAJ) and the employment of people with mental and cognitive disabilities through the opening of new café-restaurants Cafés Joyeux.
To date, 50 happy team members have been trained by the CFAJ, in apprenticeships and in a work situation for 2 years, and are preparing for the State diploma of catering agent. Businesses participating in the Week of Joy Challenge will therefore have the satisfaction of contributing to an impact project that supports inclusion and diversity. For participating companies, the Challenge Semaine de la Joie is an opportunity to boost cohesion between employees, to celebrate the joy of living within their company and to commit to an impact project.
In conclusion, the QVT 2023 Challenge - Week of Joy, organized by OuiLive and Café Joyeux, is an initiative whose dual objective is to meet the expectations of employees in terms of QVCT and to offer companies a unique opportunity to strengthen cohesion between employees while supporting an impact project. The QVT 2023 Challenge - Semaine de la Joie is a collective adventure open to all, which combines fun and active challenges, inspiring conferences and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Don't wait any longer to register and spread the joy at work!
